Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Krystal convocated with a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. When she returned to Saskatchewan, she worked in private practice with young athletes, older adults and injured workers. She then transitioned to working in the public sector and provided home-based physiotherapy for people who were unable to leave their homes. It has always been Krystal’s goal to enable people to live in their homes safely for as long as possible. Over the last year, she started working in Indian Head Union Hospital as a community physical therapist, seeing inpatients within the hospital and providing physical therapy services to the surrounding community including Fort Qu’appelle, Grenfell and more. Krystal’s evolving journey as a physical therapist has helped her pinpoint how she can more effectively serve the community that she lives in.
Krystal has largely worked with teenagers and adults of all abilities and accepts referrals for individuals that are 12+ years old. Krystal has additional training in vestibular conditions and neck injuries.
In her spare time, she is passionate about curling, hiking, kayaking and going on new adventures with her spouse.
